Hey, I'm Samantha Geerts

I am the heart behind Moments in Motion Photography, based in Central Florida, but before I'm a photographer, I am a mom, a 'wife', and a woman juggling a beautifully busy life.


During the week, I work at a private school where I'm technically the librarian... but that's just a title. In reality, I'm also a substitute teacher, the yearbook creator, and the PTA photographer. If something needs to be captured, I'm usually involved. I love being in a school environment. I love watching the kids grow up year after year. And yes, I absolutely obsess over yearbook layouts.


After school hours? I transform into full-on sports mom mode.


You will find me on the sidelines at soccer games cheering and recording, usually wearing a custom shirt I design to be extra. If there is an excuse to personalize something, I'm taking it. During basketball season, I become team mom because I genuinely love surprising the kids with end-of-the season gifts. Celebrating people makes me happy.


At home, I'm a puzzle person. The "dump 1000 pieces on the table and refuse to quit" kind. I love cute drama shows. I also love to color. I love creating little things that let my brain unwind. And every week, my hubby and I bowl in a league together, which is our version of date night with a little competitive edge.


Photography started as more than just a business for, it became a way to freeze the time. Because I'm living the chaos too. The school days. The sports seasons. The growing-up-too-fast moments.


I'm not the most organized person but creative. Sentimental but practical. Driven but very real.


When you book with me, you are not hiring someone who just shows up with a camera. You are working with someone who understands the season you are in, because I'm in one too.


And that is why capturing it matters so much to me.
